55th CENSIS report on the social situation in Italy – 2021

In its latest edition, the 55^th, the Censis Report reveals the results emerging from the analysis and interpretation of the most significant Italian socio-economic phenomena, identifying the real transformation processes of our society. The General considerations which introduce the Report focus on these themes. The second part – Italian society in 2021 – is about the topics of greatest interest issued during the last year. In the third and fourth parts, the analyses are grouped for each sector and area: training, work, welfare and health, territory and networks, subjects and economic processes, media and communication, security and citizenship. The data from the Censis Report, presented in live streaming by Massimiliano Valerii – General Manager – and Giorgio De Rita – General Secretary – show Italy struggling with a skyrocketing poverty, a do-it-yourself approach to health and wide-spreading conspiracy theories.
